Putin postponed his speech at the SPIEF due to DDoS attacks


President Vladimir Putin has decided to postpone his speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, it will start an hour later, at 15:00 Moscow time, his press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters, RBC reports.

Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov explained that due to “intensified DDoS attacks, the database of forum participants and the access system for badges were disabled.” Hacker attacks, according to him, began the day before.

All measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences of cyber attacks, the process will be debugged, the Kremlin representative concluded.
