A suspect in the hacking of the Russian customs was detained in Moscow


Law enforcement officers detained Oleg Rusakovich in Moscow on suspicion of hacking the Unified Information System of the Federal Customs Service, the Telegram channel Mash reports. It is assumed that he helped to pass customs “necessary goods”.

From 2018 to 2021, Rusakovich changed and stole data that is a state secret. It is assumed that the “hacker” colluded with unidentified persons, after which he used someone else’s account to hack the EIS of the FCS.

A man was detained and placed under house arrest for an attack on Russia’s critical infrastructure. It is known that about ten cars have been issued for him, as well as several apartments in Moscow.
