Shares of Ince Group PLC (AIM:INCE) fell 15% to 20 pence after the company issued a profit warning and reported a cyber attack on its systems. The group was the victim of a cyberattack on March 13, 2022, which caused the business to adapt to difficult working conditions in a short time.
After the attack, disaster recovery procedures were launched, and the affected systems were disabled. The company immediately appointed a team of specialists to work on restoring systems and advising on the management of the situation. According to experts, the attackers were unable to gain access to user data, and the attacked systems were quickly restored.
In addition, Ince Group has informed shareholders of another disappointing news – the results of trading for the full year will most likely not be published until the end of September.
