SpyCloud has launched an early warning system Session Identity Protection, designed to prevent fraud with trusted users — one of the most difficult forms of fraud to detect. The new system is based on intelligent malware analysis, which identifies credentials and session tokens stolen by attackers from consumers. SpyCloud uses intercepted malware data to warn businesses about compromising consumers’ web sessions so they can cancel active sessions and block intruders.

The Prisma Cloud service from Palo Alto Networks has received a new Supply Chain Security feature . Prisma Cloud now provides a comprehensive view of where potential vulnerabilities or misconfigurations exist in the software supply chain, allowing organizations to easily track and fix them. This can help identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in code, including open source packages, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) files, and delivery pipelines such as Version Control System (VCS) and CI pipeline configurations. Prisma Cloud Supply Chain Security provides users with several new features, including automatic detection for extraction and modeling of code assets, graphical visualization for inventory of important dependencies of application assets and infrastructure, as well as correction of supply chain code to eliminate vulnerable dependencies or incorrectly configured infrastructure.

Reciprocity has released a new integrated Risk Observation, Assessment, and Remediation (ROAR) platform based on artificial intelligence, which allows companies to avoid, control and reduce risks in business processes, while providing a clear view of risks at the management level. Real-time risk representation in the context of business operations provides information security professionals with valuable information they need to prevent and reduce risks and optimize security. The new innovative Reciprocity ROAR platform allows companies to protect their most valuable assets, quantify the value of security investments, accelerate business initiatives and effectively inform management about risk levels and improvements.

AvePoint has released a Ransomware Detection solution as part of a cloud backup for Microsoft 365 for additional protection of digital collaboration data. The new solution detects suspicious user behavior in Microsoft OneDrive in advance, minimizing disruption to productivity and collaboration. After detecting unusual activity, Cloud Backup provides detailed reports to shorten the investigation and mark problem areas for the client administrator, and if necessary restores all or certain OneDrive data, quickly restoring business-critical information for Cloud Backup customers.

The new version of Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 v6 eliminates the risk of losing access and control over Office 365 data, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Teams. Your data is always accessible and protected. Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 allows you to perform a reliable backup of Office 365 to any location — to a local site or to cloud object storage, including Amazon S3, Azure Blob, IBM Cloud or S3-compatible storage of a service provider. New features of the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 v6 version increase time savings for IT departments by reducing the load on recovery requests and additional cost savings due to more efficient backup.

A version of Mt. Rainier has been released for the Dasera data protection platform. Dasera combines collaboration and automation to ensure data security from creation to deletion. The platform also provides maximum visibility and context for users, infrastructure and data. The Mt. Rainier version improves cross-functional collaboration and provides better data protection at scale. Mt. Rainier includes customized roles, interfaces, and customizable workflows for data processing and compliance team members that save time, optimize cross-functional coordination, and help detect and eliminate risks as early as possible.
