Avast suspends work in Russia

Avast reported in its blog: “Any military conflict is primarily a human catastrophe. We continue to pay full wages and assist in the temporary relocation at their request of some families who were in high-risk areas. We are in constant communication with affected employees, and the problems and very real dangers they face are a constant source of deep concern.

The company has completely stopped the supply of all products to Russia and Belarus, as well as stopped all marketing and sales operations. The company has been present on the Russian market for more than 20 years and its products have been in demand both in the corporate market and among private users. According to the company, they paid more than $2.5 million in taxes to the Russian budget last year alone.
